The Monterrey Convention and Visitors Bureau is the best ally for those who are considering Monterrey as the host city for their next event or for those who are looking to bring a congress, convention, expo, championship or national or international meeting to the destination. We offer free advice and services to facilitate your event in the city.
Monterrey CVB
We are a non-profit organization created by the Government of the State of Nuevo León and the Mexican Hotel Association of Nuevo León, which promotes the great advantages that Monterrey offers for the attraction of events.
We work hand in hand with associations, federations, chambers, schools, corporations and other organizations, offering support at no cost so that events of national and international stature can be held in Monterrey, become success stories and generate a positive economic and social impact on the destination.
Our services
At Monterrey CVB, we offer comprehensive services that cover every stage of an event—from the moment it is proposed for Monterrey to its execution in the city.
The services offered by the Bureau are provided at no cost and are granted after an analysis of the event, considering factors such as the number of out-of-town visitors and the economic impact generated in the destination.
This covers everything from issuing official letters for the event application and preparing the support proposal (bidding book) to assisting in the presentation of Monterrey as the host destination to key decision-makers.
Technical visit to evaluate the destination in areas such as infrastructure, services, and tourist attractions. OCV Monterrey organizes the visit, schedules the appointments, and accompanies the organizer throughout the site inspections.
As destination experts, our staff offers the professional advisory support necessary to facilitate event operations in Monterrey, along with tourism information and recommendations for tours and site visits.
We facilitate the organizer’s engagement with key local agencies and entities, helping secure the agreements necessary to support the successful development of the event in the city.
For the selection of the best services, we recommend to the organizer qualified suppliers that offer a professional treatment and tailor-made solutions.
The Bureau offers logo design services and materials such as posters and programs to support the event’s communication and promotion.
We provide materials such as photographs, videos, texts, and brochures about Monterrey to promote the destination as the host city for the event.
Events may be eligible to receive financial support for operational expenses, which is authorized and allocated by our Technical Committee.
We have an Event Attraction department that implements the necessary strategies to secure the event for the city. Once the event is confirmed for Monterrey, it is transferred to the Group Services department to continue with the agreed advisory services and support.
